He tries out for a soccer team and made the team, He raced a horse, and he also did bull riding. But this time tops the cake. Ocho told NFL reporters that the next "STUNT" he wil do is going to be snake wrangling. He tweeted that he will be the first snake wrangler. I guess Chad Johnson has found sonething to do during the lockout. But anlaysis worry with all these stunts will he be ready for the NFL season.

Mcnabb workout with the cardinals

McNabb, who lives in nearby Chandler, Ariz., and Baltimore Ravens receiver Todd Heap, who played college football at Arizona State, joined Cardinals quarterbacks John Skelton, Max Hall and Rich Bartell and receivers Steve Breaston, Stephen Williams and 2011 seventh-round draft pick Demarco Sampson. The "low-key" workout was closed to all but one member of the media.
I always believe in a low profile," McNabb said. "Guys get a chance to work and it’s not something you’re broadcasting all over the place, telling everybody what you doing and who is in town and all of that.
"I think guys understand in this period the work you need to put forth. As you can see we push each other. A lot of us have known each other for a while."
On his future, McNabb said, "The next couple years, we’ll see what happens. Who knows where I’ll be anyway? I’m looking forward to that and when that time comes, step in there and be ready to go

It's Goin Down!!!!

I posted a recent post about carson palmer threating to retire if not traded. Well recently Bengals Head Coach (Marvin Lewis) and the Bengals Owner (Mike Brown) said that they dont intend to trade Carson at all. They also said that "I want him back, and i will just leave it at that. I haven't talked to any other team about him, and i have no plans to trade him." A couple days later Palmer put his five-bedroom, two-story property up in Indain Hill up for sale for 2.1M. After Head Coach (Marvin Lewis) heard about this he went on to say "Its goin to be important not to spin our wheels worrying about it and being paralyzed by it but to be proactive." "Alot of things affect people all the time but the thing about it is there is a great opportunity ahead and were goinn to seize the moment."

Should the Vikes Draft a QB.

With only Joe Webb an Rhett Bomar as their QB's Should the Vikes Draft a QB With the 12th overall selection in the draft.Joe Webb Would be the starter but he only has two carrer starts.Tavaris Jackson is a Unresricted Free Agent while Brett Farve filled out his retirement papes this weekend. The Vikes pursued Kyle Orton but backed off recently after the Broncos said Orton will be their starter.I say no because average age of the VIke is 28 W/O Brett in the lineup so i dont see a Rookie Signal caller coming in and taking over.I also dont think their will be a good enough QB on the board by the 12th Overall pick.I guess we will have to wait and see on Draft Day.

Newton or Gabbert for the 1st pick in the draft???

Newton ran a spread option offense at Auburn that featured him as a dual-threat player. He ran a series of plays which often left him as the primary ball carrier based on the reaction of the defense. As a result, he finished the season with 264 rushing attempts (for 1,473 yards and 20 touchdowns) and averaged of 5.6 yards per carry. While Newton's running skills were featured in the offense, he also was a pretty good passer. He completed more than 66 percent of his passes for 2,854 yards with 30 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. Most impressively, he averaged 10.2 yards per attempt, which indicates the explosive nature of the Tigers' offensive attack under his direction. In looking at the tape, Newton is best described as a big, athletic quarterback with outstanding running skills. He is nifty and elusive on the perimeter and runs like a tailback with the ball in his hands. His strength and power are remarkable for a quarterback, and defenders of all sizes had problems taking him to the ground. As a passer, he is OK but has outstanding natural abilities. His arm strength is off the charts, and his passes have plenty of zip and velocity. He has the ability to make all of the pro throws from the pocket or on the move, but his accuracy is inconsistent due to issues with his footwork. Newton relies extensively on his natural arm strength when throwing, and his failure to incorporate his lower body leads to passes sailing from time to time. However, when he plays with balance and body control in the pocket, his accuracy improves significantly on throws of all ranges.
Gabbert was just as impressive guiding Missouri's wide-open, spread offense. As the director of an offense that extensively featured four- and five-receiver sets from the shotgun formation, he finished his career with back-to-back 3,000-yard seasons while tossing 40 touchdowns during that span. His completion percentage improved from 58.9 percent as a sophomore to 63.4 as a junior, and he finished his career with 10 300-yard games. Gabbert still tallied more than 100 rushing attempts during his final two seasons and finished with eight rushing touchdowns in his three-year career. Gabbert's game tape reveals a pure pocket passer with good throwing mechanics. He throws the ball with excellent zip and velocity, and his arm strength is on compared with some of the best passers in the game. Gabbert is capable of making all of the throws from the pocket with zip or touch, and he shows an great ability to squeeze the ball into tight areas. His timing and anticipation on short throws are outstanding and he shows good awareness by leading receivers into open areas. Although he gets sloppy with his footwork and fundamentals at times, Gabbert's natural arm strength allows him to muscle throws from crazy positions.

Greg McElroy taking shots at the Heisman winner Cam Newton.

The talk of the NFL Scouting Combine (Quarterback Specific) has been Cam Newton. But on March 1st Greg McElroy also wanted to talk about Cam Newton and what he said was more surprising than his Draft Stock. The Future 5th Round 154 Pick (His highest place on any Mock Draft) told reporters (Dan Patrick) that he is better prepared to play in the NFL right now than Cam Newton."Obviously my talent has a much lower talent ceiling than Cam's," McElroy said. "That's fair, and I respect and understand that. But i don't think I'm the only guy in the NFL that might have that same problem. I don't think Peyton Manning is athleic as Cam." Those are some wise words from the future 5th Round 154 Pick. He also pointed out that he is more experienced in a Pro-Style Offense and has a better ability to drop back from under center an make good reads on the defense before the snap of the ball. He aslo stated that he won a National Championship and was 24-3 as a starter at Alabama. "As far as understanding and processing information . . . five years down the road will he be a more productive player than me? That remains to be seen," McElroy said. All i can is that it will have to be seen an not spoken McElroy.
Cam Newton, Auburn; Greg McElroy, Alabama
